Epic: Sketch of Penelope

A sketch of Penelope that I never finished. Maybe in the future I will be able to finish it.

I love Epic: The Musical. Especially the The Ithaca saga of Penelope songs The Challenge. One of my favorites. Her voice sounds so strong and becomes so gentle when she sings her last notes of waiting. This is also my favorite part.

Create a.... Galaxy

”WOW, this looks so amazing,” Emilia said in excitement as she squeezed Julian’s shoulder. Michael, sitting next to his twin sister, said,” Just look, Mikayla, we will be able to make that one day.” Mikayla agreed, ”I can’t wait.

”The colurs looks soo pretty, right, Julian?” Layla said, sitting on Julian’s lap, happily, the pretty colors swirling. Julian, watch closely as his eyes sparkle with a color he can only admire, but never make. He sighed and agreed, ”Yes, yes, they do, Layla.”

Just a little comic I did a couple of weeks ago featuring my original characters, the Crimon Misfits, using their magic to show their younger siblings what they will learn in school to properly control their magic. I like to think of the spell as creating a galaxy, rather than just replicating the real one, and in order to make it, mages, like how Luka, Kaidan, and Naomi are doing, need to combine their magic together.

The Right Choice

It's my birthday, I decided to share one of my newest pieces I finished today.

An old piece I found on my laptop and thought I'd share. It was supposed to be a mythological themed portrait from my original series where a deity and a mortal fall in love but can't be together. The plot and idea were scrapped as I drew it back in 2024 as a background image in a museum.

Wow, this looks absolutely stunning.

Still loves how it looks.

I've been wanting to change my profile picture for a while. I finally got the chance. I'm proud of how it turned out.

Bruno: Thank you so much!

Estella: ¡Ay, Brunitu, my amor! I understand you're grateful, but please save your energy to reconnect with your hijos.

Bruno: You're right. I'll do it now... Can you stay by my side while I do it?

Estella: (sighed tiredly) Si.

I rarely draw fan art of any show or movie I like because of my own insecurities about my style and thinking that I won't make the characters look right or I'll draw them unrecognizable. But for the past couple of days I tried drawing oc x cannon to try and be more confident in myself. While doing so I remember I created Estella, the wife of Bruno Madrigal when the movie Encanto came out.

In my alternate universe, Estella Madrigal is Bruno's beautiful, outgoing, and tall wife, whom he loves very much. They have known each other since they were children, but back then, Estella mainly spoke with his sisters while Bruno often kept to himself. Their relationship only began to blossom when they were in their twenties. It all started when Estella asked Bruno to show her a vision of her one true love. Bruno saw the vision, but hid it, instead telling her his first lie: that she would marry a rich man, without revealing his identity. Curious and persistent, Estella spent time trying to get him to show her who this man was. During this time, she unexpectedly fell in love with Bruno, and he fell in love with her too. After they were married, Bruno finally revealed the truth about the vision she had asked for. She was shocked by his confession, but also relieved that he had not shown it to her sooner, admitting that she had seriously doubted whether she could accept it at the time.

Estella is 2 years older than Bruno, making her 52 years old.

She and Alma did not get along because of Estella's stubbornness, but Alma allowed Bruno to marry her since there were no other suitors interested in him.

They have 3 sons named Eduardo (a couple of weeks younger than Dolores), Ricardo (A year younger than Luisa) and Fabio (a couple of weeks older than Camilo).

Eduardo has a Musical gift - In charge of Music whenever someone ask.

Ricardo has a Flying gift - In charge of sending messages around Encanto person to person.

Fabio has a Invisibility gift - He does basically everything he is told especially when his invisibility is needed.

The reason Bruno left in this AU is because he refused to lie to his mother and family as he only lied once. Although their ending was good, it is unknown what will happen to Mirabel despite Estella telling him that she'll protect Mirabel herself from Abuela Alma if needed, all he needs to do was lie. But his mind was made up, as he spend 10 years in the wall with his rats and  Estella brought him food every night behind the painting but rarely talking to him as she was angry that he could leave their sons without a father.

Estella loves Mirabel, treated her like a daughter, and protected her from Isabella and Alma when they decided to be harsh with Mirabel.

But if I were to continue along the timeline of the film, Estella and Bruno began talking to each other while rebuilding the Casita. Estella in this universe did not persist with Bruno's vision and eventually married a rich man who was not very kind to her, whom she eventually divorced when her second child was born, at which time Bruno disappeared. Estella still spoke to Julieta and Pepa from time to time. Estella spent years thinking about the man she was actually destined to be with. Once she discovered Bruno was back and the entire village began helping her build the Casita, Bruno and Estella began talking and talked for months. Enjoying each other's company and Bruno finally told her that the vision was about her and him married. Estella was confused and shocked, but with a sigh, she asked him if he wanted to try a relationship. He nervously said yes and in a span of 2 year, they got married and Bruno accepted her kids as his who they also accepted him as their step - father.

I'm a very old piece I did back in 2023 when there was a trend on TikTok where you take a test to see if you're a soldier, a poet or a king. I got a king, made it and posted it on instagram which I deleted a long time ago but eventually decided to redraw it in my current style which I'm very proud of if you ask me ^^
