Got a mostly successful print!
At least one I'm fine putting on my work desk 😅

Our FDM printer seems to be back... sorta because now the SD card is dead but ONE STEP AT THE TIME.
My partner has been troubleshooting it with the company for like 8 months... we just want it to woooork 😭
My partner was stumped by the Creality FDM printer.
Patner: The bed is leveled, 100%, but the space is still not right as soon as it starts moving.
Me: OK so we ruled out one of the components. What about the head? Or that bar there that holds the head? (I don't know part names!)
So I googled it: issues with the X Gantry (that's the metal bar) are fairly common with this type of printer. Found a YouTube video explaining how to fix it.
Took them some time to fix, lo and behold, the printer prints now.
There's no real moral here. Sucks that support never looked at that in all their troubleshooting. But also, please listen to people's common sense sometimes 😅
