Hi! I was wondering if there were any acrylic charm sites that accepted art not made on photoshop/illustrator! (I use procreate)

Kiriska: Procreate can export files in PSD, as well as PNG, JPEG and TIFF. Most suppliers will accept one or more of these formats. For example, Zap! Creatives:

In general, while PSD and AI originate from Photoshop and Illustrator, because they’re pervasive and “industry standard” in many cases, many other programs can also export in these formats. (Similarly, PDF originated from Adobe Acrobat, but few people even know this anymore because it’s such a “universal” format.)

Hi! I'm struggling with figuring out a solution for my sticker sheets. I'll be using Catprint to make a several sheets with about 12-14 stickers that I wanted kiss cut. I'm failing horribly at making diecut lines in photoshop though, its all jagged edges and I'm a failure at using vectors too (despite hours of sifting through tutorials and downloading other vector programs). Is it possible to just have Catprint make the cut lines or do they charge a lot? Thanks!

Kiriska: Sounds like a question for Catprint to answer.

If all your individual sticker designs are separate layers though, you should be able to create rastor die cut lines by:

Copying the sticker layer (let's call this copy "A")

Layer>Layer Style>Stroke

Lock transparency on A

Fill all of A with a solid color that's different from the stroke

Create a new empty layer under A

Merge A into the empty layer, thereby rastorizing it

Delete the solid color of A

You should be left with just the stroke line on A, which can serve as a die cut line

This is a really convoluted method, but it's how I've made separate outline layers for things for a long time?? There's probably a better way to do it honestly, but in the meantime, I hope it helps.

I have a question when it comes to double-sided charm designs and file set up. When it comes to asymmetrical designs but both are the same image, do you flip the design for one of the sides? Or should both images be facing the same direction but be perfectly aligned? The design contains no text. Sorry if this was answered somewhere already.

Kiriska: Here’s a great tutorial by @shattered-earth. You should also see if your manufacturer has a specific template or other requirements/guidelines for double-sided charms.
