THE BIG CATCH ADVENTURE
Just for fun, I pulled some art from The Big Catch kickstarter and Filet Group’s Twitter to admire. 🎣
Nope, this game still hasn't left my mind! #TheBigCatch looks heckin' fun to play! Awesome thing about being a Digimon, you can slip into any game world and no one would be the wiser! Just having a blast with the titular characters, Cast and Tackle! Check them out @FiletGroup Artist Note: I realized I never posted this here so I'mma posting it since the Awesome Tacklebox demo came out a while ago! SO AWESOME!!
when the catch is big
old ish arts of cool ass critters for cool ass game in development, called “the big catch”
🐟TACKLEBOX IS HERE! 🐟
Crack open the Tacklebox to show off your platforming prowess and fishing skills in this free prologue to The Big Catch.
Our first taste of the Big Catch has finally arrived! According to Filet, it’s a demo that’s supposed to act as a prologue to the Big Catch. Not only can you play as Tackle, but it’s entirely FREE for everyone! Go check it out! (It’s INCREDIBLY fun!)
This collection of concept art from Harrison’s Twitter shows how long The Big Catch has already been in development for. It seems once Caster’s design was solidified, Tackle’s came shortly after. Super cool stuff.
Perhaps some of the early designs will become cosmetics or skins that Caster can wear in game. Only time will tell! I highly recommend zooming in on these. In one sketch Caster looks like he’s wearing pajamas. 🐟
The Big Catch seems to use Banjo-Kazooie inspired voice clips for the majority of the main characters, including Chef Leurre and Tackle.
When interacting with the characters, Caster can respond in two different ways. It’s unknown if the interactions here are apart of a side quest or the main game, but it’s most likely the ladder:
It’s really awesome to see the character’s personalities begin to reveal themselves here. The NPC interaction is shaping up to be extremely charming, another draw to the game.
Gameplay taken from Filet Group’s Twitter.
Big Catch Dramon
So I am very excited about this game called The Big Catch! It's still in the works at the moment but it looks like a fun time all around! Check out @FiletGroup for more details!
