Doodled a while back while on a car trip, this is so bad sgkj, putting here for archival purposes because I cant even find it when I want it on my main blog

I made the text wall a text wall because I thought it would be funny, (the point being, that sharamira wasn’t actually absorbing information at that point but was willing to do anything, but thinking back I’d rather have her hang on every word) but if I were to do it over again, I’d make it a full separate page aha

I’m born of the earth and the rain and the sun

With flowers and trees and the forest as one

A brief time I live and I love and I lust

Though swiftly I shall fade and vanish to dust.

The summer, a swift dream, must soon bid goodbye

Why is life so fleeting,  all destined to die?

One moment we linger, the next disappear;

Would that I unmelting might long tarry here.

An expression of the contrast between joy in transient existence and the wishing for immortality despite dwelling on the end.
