Watercolor princess ponies. The painting is too big for my scanner, so I had to digitally cobble together and adjust four scans. Spare me, eagle-eyed shoppers. I am but a novice.

I was working on sketching for a Chrysalis piece and it didn't work out, so I made this one normal. The next drawing of her will be a lot different. What good is the name Chrysalis if she doesn't undergo some changes now and then?

Here's the line art for the painting I'm working on. It's on a 16" x 10" cold-press watercolor board, and I think I'll auction it after I finish.

edit: The scan made the pencil work look so grainy and terrible, but I spent a very long time making it crisp and clean and fine.

I wanted to give her stylized classical features. Her face is rather long, but I don't have the patience to tweak all of her facial proportions for a little drawing.
