“Neither is my name Corvie... but I have accepted this fate. Only from my jewel.”

"You are right. I should not question. But it's the fact that her beauty can tear down those who underestimates her. That is what makes her truly amazing. I tend to gloat and with great reason." His head bows gracefully before her presence. "I mean no disrespect towards you."
"It is their failure if they underestimate her. I also call that deadly stupidity." She saw how he bowed before her and gave out a smirk. Fond of the mannerism of that vampire.
"No worries, mon prince. I saw nothing that would disrespect me. I must apologize for my..." She gesticulated with her hands as she searched for the right word. "Suzanne is not only my friend but more my sister, dearer to me than my own flesh and blood. I love her and I protect what I love.

He propped his cheek on his hand and stared playfully at Vannevar. “ Challenging your authority. ” Connor said plainly, as if he was telling the prince he was reading a book. He raised both his eyebrows, still grinning. “ Oh? Why don’t you come make me get down? ”
“Nice to see two vampire goths arguing. This is why I keep to my kind and not bother with bloodsuckers.”

The knight looked confused at the other male for a moment. He eyed him up again, no his eyes didn’t deserve him this was Corvus, was it not??? Unless the bastard suddenly forgot who he was or decided to talk in third person.
“Yes, you did that. Did you literally forget what you did just yesterday. Soon you’ll be telling me you forgot about those children you sent the dogs after..” He sighed and rolled his eyes while crossing his arms.

"Suzanne is perfect, is she not?"
Her eyes wandered down of the Vampire in front of her. She appreciated his aesthetics. The red that reminded her of the blood that their kind desired so much, dripping down their greedy mouths. A smirk came up her lips and she gave him a rather haughty look with a red glim behind her dark brown eyes. "Oui oui, she is magnifique! Beyond what perfection allows." The old Vampire had a thick french accent that reminded everyone of her royal ancestry. A time where she had dined with the King Ludwig XVI and his queen Maria Antoinette. Danielle had lived a long live, met a lot of people. She know when something was up, but she stayed curious in her manner and suspective. "Do you have any doubts about that or why are you asking me things you should be sure about, mon cher ami?"

Vannevar smirks and pulls his cheek gently. "You are adorable. When you're not a little shit."
He takes a deep breath. Willing away his absolute need to throttle him, Corvus opens his eyes and narrows on him. “At times I wonder why you bother?” Gripping onto his wrist tugs Vannevar’s touch off but he does not let go. “Tell me what will it take to put you back to LA? Is it bad there as well?”
Asking vaguely, Corvus releases him, turning towards the window. “I smell their blood. It is - diseased. This new plague sweeping through the states. It reminds me of the influenza. Such a shame to watch those return from war and battle an unseen force within their world. 1918 was a very good year. Do you not agree, Brother?”

"What have I done to you, Brother? Is my rule not to your liking? Is my marriage forfeit to you? WHAT IS IT?!" His fingers combs through his hair pacing back and forth. "WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?! YOU HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING!!"
Corvus is not at all moved. Nothing moves him not even ‘love’ or the foolish notion of it. He can give passion. He can soar to the highest annals of carnal desires, deliver them effectively and take what he wants. Yet it leaves nothing but a dull void in his undead heart.
“What marriage?” he asks seriously. “Surely it is of convenience. To have a sensechal, right hand to keep a leash on you.” He admits she is beautiful. One that is powerful in her own right and it is something to appreciate. “Do you even appreciate what you have?”
He does not wait for an answer. He does not even care if his brother possesses one. Instead he moves quickly, gripping onto Vannevar’s head but not to harm. He forces his brother to look him in the eye. “Precious kin. Do you truly believe our blood is not thicker than a Parisian courtesan that chose to send me her lips? I set out on a task to prove my thoughts correct. You need no one but me. Do you understand, Vannevar? Do you not know what makes you weak? Care. Care for something that is not worth anything. You need no one else! You did not need father. I removed him for us both.”
