well, thank you! I truly love Tri-X 400 processed in HCD new (combining HCD-S & HCD-2) scanned softly (on my aging Canon 8600f) and processed in Aperture (standard post-processing for B&W includes 0.1 Definition, Auto curves; occasional shadows & highlights adjustments, not in this particular image). HCD is a combination of a starter development by HCD-S (basically a very hard and sharp developer, combined with a softer, longer development suit (HCD new). Gives great sharpness and richness of tones. Excellent push-possibilities, the ability to pull should be quite nice too, but I never tried. The grain is visible and I like it. 

I have pushed Tri-X 400  up to ISO 3200 to shoot fast moving kids in the water with my Zenza Bronica ETRSi (645) medium format camera and noticed almost no penalty. But that's medium fort for you ;-) .

Love Tri-X 400 #believeinfilm

ordered 10 rolls of Tri-X 400  (135) to replace my 5 rolls I shot during holidays.

Spent one week at Bad Saarow (Scharmützelsee) and then 5 glorious days in Berlin (where I lived 18 years).

Shot mostly family snaps, the occasional nicer spot of landscaped surroundings™ 

the 5 rolls will be developed in one tank (I got me a tank extension for my Jobo universal tank which will then fit 5 rolls for 135 or 6 rolls of 120 film), I have to calculate volumes. Since I started working full time again I have less time for processing film.

Developed Film Today: two Tri-X 400 120 @3200 in Spur HCD new #believeinfilm

I collected more than enough rolls… need to empty the box a bit at least… so for a start two rolls I shot with my Zenza Bronica ETRSi (645) while watching over my son's class at the school's pool… Large window, but after all not that much light for those fast fast kids. 

Still to go: 3 rolls Tri-X 400 120 @400 (family event & kids); the two rolls Tri-X 400 135 @400 I shot with my son on the foto safari in March… a roll of Tri-X 400 135 @400 from as late as October… and so on.

Tri-X 400 shot @3200 today: attending swimming school with my son's class

I took my Zenza Bronica ETRSi (645) on a trip today: I'm accompanying my son's class when they go for swimming lessons (his school has its' own swimming pool – really great) to help his teacher. I am documenting school life and have been asked by that teacher to take pictures of class's activity here too.

To get decent shutter speeds (those kids are fast – except when getting dressed up again to make room for the next class – sigh) I shot my beloved Tri-X 400 @3200. Means f=4.0 & 1/125. Will push in HCD new.

The ETRS system is truly amazing. I LOVE the huge viewfinder (I use a non-metered prism) for me - wearing glasses this is just plain great – and much much easier than my Nikon F2 Photomic.
