    Gokudera should have been more surprised than he was when Uri dashed right out his door when he got home from work. She hadn’t done it for awhile, but something had him feeling like today would be the day she would lead him to another chase around town. And yeah, with that feeling he should have tried to stop it but for whatever reason he didn’t despite how tired he was from the long day. 

    With a small sigh, he tossed his bag into his room and quickly took off after Uri. He was a few feet behind her anyways and he knew she wouldn’t get any further ahead as long as he didn’t lose site of her. She wouldn’t get far, she never did. Someone would always stop her suddenly or she’d stop herself after she felt like she’d given him enough of a work out. Though she did do something he hadn’t seen her do in a long while, she’d instantly jumped into someones arms without being beckoned and it had caused him to slow down in his running for a bit.

    There were only a handfull of people Uri would willingly love on out of her own accord, but all of them, as far as he knew, were still at home. That simple thought should have pushed him to rush over and see if by some grace of god it had been one of his fellow guardians like he was suspecting or the Tenth himself, but instead he stayed frozen for a moment. If it wasn’t the Tenth, it meant he was another guardian down to keep him safe, if he was lucky, maybe it would be Hibari or Mukuro that was there and he’d feel slightly better about it since the two bastards tended to do more harm than good when it came to the Tenth. But if it was the Tenth, then his worries would end completely. 

    Whoever it was, he had to see for himself. Whatever stemmed from it would stemm from it and they’d deal with it as it came. With the last few steps he moved to where he could now have a better view of who it was and he felt his heart instantly drop. It was the worst person possible to end up here with him. The only other person he had trusted with his life to keep the Tenth as safe as he could.
