Welcoming the Change that has Occurred in My Life
There are a lot of good things that are happening for me. I declare that when you think that you have life all figured out, you get thrown a curveball you never expected. Luckily, this curveball will allow me to focus on what's important to me right now: developing my consulting business, writing more for SWH & my personal blog, having time to take the Coursera classes that interest me, finally learning French, & delving more into the political & social action arenas I'm involved in. I wasn't expecting this sudden change, but I do welcome it with open arms.
In my opinion, this change will provide me the freedom & time I need to work on my personal & professional projects. I will dare to say that this is one great "benefit" about being unemployed - you get to focus your time on projects that are important to you. Though I do want to earn a paycheck eventually, if this path of self-discovery and ultimately self-employment is what I'm suppose to be doing at this time, then I won't fight it. I want to take strides to be one step closer to my destiny. I strongly believe that these projects & interests will take me to the heights I'm hoping for.
I will explain more over the next couple of weeks what brought about this sudden change; for the time being, however, I just want to focus on the joy I feel in finally being in the position to turn my dreams into reality, slowly but surely.
