So, I'm living with my grandparents while I'm going to school. And I got a pretty good wake up call today about how much my dad has truly messed me up. I was getting ready to carry a box upstairs from the basement. And as I was lifting it up I knocked over an old glass shelf that broke into pieces. I immediately started crying because I was expecting a "God damn it, Chelsea!" And basically being told how much of a screw up I am. My grandparents obviously didn't do that, as it was just an old shelf that they were throwing away anyways. And it just made me realise how conditioned I am to abuse.
