Contrary to 99% of the fandom, I associate Yuuri with sun and fire. They're brilliant and full of life but destructive at the same time. Yuuri is a positive influence to many but his self imposed isolation damages his personal relationships. He loves so deeply that he hurts himself and others in what he'd think is a noble sacrifice. Meanwhile, Victor is the moon and water. He is mysterious and adaptable. He has many faces that can fool people from seeing his hidden depths.

I agree 100%! Like you said, it’s a very unpopular thing, but I’ve always seen Yuuri as the sun/fire/light/day to Victor’s moon/water/dark/night. What you said is even similar to how I explained how I would place them in an ATLA AU (x)
