               quite a cold winter it was, with the little dust of white fluttering down from the cold frosted skies. —- down to the dormant earth below. where life barely breathed, yet there still held beauty in this sleep-like wonderland. 

sadly, he did not have the privilege to enjoy such wonders this year, seeing that his young son had caught a small cold. it was no surprise seeing that his son was quite reckless and often would forget to take important repercussions. ❛          heh, now don’t look so grumpy guren          ❜ he playfully poked his son and placed some comforting hot tea with honey in front of the young boy. who was bundled up in blankets and sweaters.

‘      oh   fuck                 you           !       ’          words      cut   off  ,        raven’s   hues   finding   the   hunters   time   seemed      TO     FREEZE     for   a    few   moments .      worry   /   anger   /    pain   etched   into       beautiful         features    as    long    lashes    brushed   against    freckled   cheeks    with    each    blink   of    indigo   hues   ,              keith’s    gaze    wandered     &     checked    every   inch   of   skin    on   display .               there   had   been   an    attack  ,    a   fight                lunges          aching   ,          fingers    digging   into    sternum    the    vampire   had      WORRIED  ENDLESSLY     (   still   bound   to   bed                      recovering   from  a   wound   even   lethal   to   own   body  ;       silver   poisoning   dangerous         &       deathly         to    creatures   of   the   night   should   it   not    kill    them     IMMEDIATELY   )             the   blood   sucker   knew   that   guren   will    always   give    100%    in   protecting   everyone                            heart        swelling       with   pride  ,      heavy   with       concern         though   at   the   same   time    keith    licked   lips .

the   worry   was      STILL   FRESH                               STILL   DOMINATING     thoughts    but   it   got   easier   to   handle .                back   then    ravenous    creature   of   the      night       had   never   expected   to    find    love         WHERE   IT   WASN’T   SUPPOSED   TO   BE                         with   one   of   the   very   humans     meant   to       erase         own   kind    from   existence   for    many   many   reasons .       they   were   right   ;               gloomy   thought        rose   to   forefront   of    mind .           shaking    hands     (    still   upset    about   the       close       call       )              grip    collar   of   the   hunter      &         drag   him   down .      keith   needed   to   FEEL    guren .            to    drown  in   the   hunter   /    to    sink   into   their   closeness  ;            the  need   to   be   close       growing .             giving   in   to   urge   the   indigo  eyes      simply        kissed   the   taller   male                          teeth      drawn      but   only    teasing   ,        knuckles    white    in       despair       where   they   grip   cloth . 

deepening          the    kiss  ,      raven   lost    ownself   in   it      &       clung    to   the   hunter                  calming    &     awakening    at   the   same   time   as        BREATH      of   the   human    filled   own   lunges   /    body   warm       &        solid    against   own .           (      i    love   you  . .              i   love   you   with   all   i’ve   got         )           indigo   eyes   closed   in    bliss  ,          mind      embraced     by    emotions   only   guren   awoke .

       Goshi knew what day it was. He figured Guren did too, it was hard to forget the anniversary of when your friend’s father was executed. Anymore he noticed Guren acted like it didn’t bother him, but Goshi figured it was just an illusion and he knew all about illusions.

       So he found himself leaning in the doorway to Guren’s office, a smile on his face. “Hey Guren, what would you say to hanging out for a bit? Just you and me?”

 HAVOC THOUGHT, making tea would be a good idea for the other, something like a calming vice. He also worried that Guren would think he is ASSUMING THINGS ABOUT HIM, which was partly true. Plus having a talk with the other about random things seemed nice, just about life...normal things. Havoc knew he has to be careful of his wording ( which he hated, ) the thought of a lingering Mahiru always seemed to shake him. 

━━ Finally making his way over to Guren tray of; two tea cups and a pot of tea- along with some cookies his mother had made. Sliding the tray in front of the other a smile curled on his lips, taking a seat next to him Havoc hummed. NERVES PICKED AT HIM, WAITING FOR HIM TO SLIP UP. His breathing picked up, but he shook his head pouring out tea into the cups.

                   “    so. how ya’ doin’ ?   ”
