Does anyone else get so bored at work that they start randomly memorizing Shakespeare passages or is that just me?

Like I think asset protection at my job must think I’m crazy, like all of a sudden they look at the cameras and I’m counting a till while reciting Romeo’s lines from the balcony scene from Romeo & Juliet.

They flip to the cash office expecting just to see someone doing their job, but instead they get the 20-year-old closer reciting “but soft what light through yonder windows breaks” whilst counting change

And I wonder why my friends say I am the least finance-y finance major they’ve ever met, like lol I’m over here studying to be an accountant and memorizing Shakespeare in my free time

Y’all, my Business law professor is so bad. Let me tell you. At the beginning of this semester there were maybe 15 students in the class and each class that number has slowly been dwindling down. Yesterday when I walked in, there was ONE other student there.

All he does is read off the book PowerPoint slides and any slide that he adds to give us an example, he tells us he used ChatGPT to make it.

We don’t do any briefs. Whenever I ask for alternative studying resources, he says to us AI. THAT IS HIS ANSWER TO EVERYTHING. I am not exaggerating.

So you know what? I AM using ChatGPT. For the questions and exams. On the midterm the grade average was 61!!!!!!!

I used ChatGPT and I got a 94. No there was no curve. This is the first time in my academic career that I have ever done something like that. I would feel more guilty but I am not letting a lazy professor get in the way of my GPA.

My Macroeconomics teacher is bad but nowhere near as bad as my Business law. I am so busy teaching MYSELF economics while simultaneously going through my Financial Accounting class (which luckily has an alright professor) to be trying to also teach myself fucking commercial law.

When I get up to my 4 year in NYC I am definitely going to be retaking my business law class even though I’ll have already have gotten an A in this one, but it’ll be with a competent professor next time.

final night on holiday to my hometown. we’ve (my partner, baby and I) have been visiting my parents for the past few weeks. we depart tomorrow, and I’m back to work and have an exam on monday.
