hey besties!
in honor of s23 being one month away, we’ve come up with a fun challenge to help promote the upcoming season we are so stoked for!
from now (aug 23th) until the premiere (sept 23) there’ll be 9 words a day to choose from to write a 500(ish) word drabble for!
the words will be posted in advance for the entire challenge (*see screenshot attached for the prompt list), so each day will have 9 words authors can choose to write a ~500 word fic for.
**PLEASE ONLY POST YOUR FIC ON THE CORRESPONDING DAY FOR ITS WORD**
we ask that you post your fics to the collection “SVU’s 500 word fic challenge” on ao3 that is open for anyone to contribute to, and tag it with “#svu500challenge”
this is open to anyone, everyone, and all the ships! romantic, platonic, familial, you name it! whatever sparks the muses!
and please feel free to participate as much or as little as you’d like! we’re just trying to hype up the new season and get excited for the upcoming 500th episode!
and, if you haven’t been able to tell yet, our prompt list of words stems from the one-worded title eps of our beloved show, and then a few notable words our favorite characters say relatively often. please use them for your own interpretations in your ~500 word fics, they don’t have to be relative to the episode it corresponds with at all!
