Unforgiving rain poured from the sky, making the roadways slick and reflective, perfect for a drunk, upset, unwitting archfey to get himself lost and hurt.
Finch huffed as he pulled his coat tighter against his body, he was soaked through and a chill was setting in 'If I don't find him soon ill have to head home and hope he's ok' his breath turning to a short-lived mist as he peered around a corner. 'Do I even have what I would need for a location spell?' Finch paused and rummaged through his pockets. Some lint, his spellbook, a pen, a pack of cigarettes, his phone, and the note Keiran had handed to him, not even a week ago during Lavinia's lecture.
"That'll do" he murmured heading for a thin stretch of covered walkway in front of a store, igniting some fire in his palm Finch pulled the note from his pocket. It was a crude drawing of Keiran himself blowing a raspberry at Lavinia, with a little doodle of Finch in the corner looking dreamily at the little Keiran, rubbing his thumb over the corner of the page with a small almost amused huff Finch lit the note and cast his spell.
A cold breeze whipped around him as he muttered the words the faint glow fading from his eyes as he stopped looking around waiting for his sign. It was dark, the pounding rain filled his ears and all he could see was the reflecting streetlamps and buildings. Finch was startled when a bright little wisp rushed up to him, nearly bumping into his face. He watched it a moment and it bobbed in the air before rushing off down the street. Shoving his hands in his pockets, Finch followed after it being careful not to slip. The rain once again beat down on his head as he did his best to keep pace with the wisp as it dashed around a corner several feet ahead of him. "Keiran!" Finch called turning another corner almost tripping over someone as the Wisp disappeared.
"Hey" his voice was so quiet that Finch almost missed it under the rain, with a sigh Finch looked down at the legs he had nearly tripped on but a moment before. "What happened to you?" Finch asked crouching down to look him over, he was holding his side, no doubt soaking wet, and he just quite frankly looked upset. "I got stabbed" he mumbled lifting the hand from his side. "You Got Stabbed?!" Finch almost yelled "why didn't you call someone" his knees hit the pavement with a small splash causing Keiran to flinch.
Finch took hold of his hand, the blood slowly washing away with the rain, using his free hand he went to pull out his phone, Keiran giving his hand a squeeze drew his attention back to the Idiot. "I already took care of it" he shrugged pulling Finch's hand to his chest "why are you laying in a dark alley, while it's pouring down rain?" Finch asked "got stabbed, fell over, wanted to lay down for a bit, its pretty simple really" Keiran chuckled "Cute that you came looking for me though, does my prince want a reward for saving me?" Finch scoffed "nows not really the time to get flirty, did you even bring a coat with you?" Keiran shook his head and sat up reaching to brush some loose hair off of Finches face.
"We should get you somewhere dry," he said with a sigh moving to stand so he could help Keiran up but was cut short when the elf pressed a kiss to his forehead "thanks" he started, pressing his forehead to Finch's "for finding me" he mumbled, avoiding eye contact, "Course" the mage mumbled standing before helping Keiran up "Can I stay with you again?" the question was soft, his voice gentle, scared at the notion Finch wouldn't want him. Finch squeezed Keirans arm gently "Yeah, I have some stuff you can change into too" he offered, pulling the shorter man close.
