EDIT/UPDATE 2/4/26: People are still reblogging this post so I'm putting what I said in my reblog in here instead. The patch has been re-released (it re-released maybe an hour or so after the initial reversed patch) and theoretically is now safe to launch sans mods. This is looking to be a doozy for modders so be careful with your game until your mods are updated, whenever that is. I’m personally not launching my game until I’m sure that nothing in my save will break

Hello my friends! As my green gen heir just aged up into a child in game (I know I'm playing far ahead of where my queue is atm lmao), I'm back to request your sims in my save! Here's what I'm looking for:

6 friends: 2 children, 2 teens, 2 YA. The green gen requires 5 friends. So out of these 6 friends, one has the potential to become my green gen's life partner!

6 enemies: 2 children, 2 teens, 2 YA. Now you might be thinking: Fin, the green gen only requires 5 enemies. Why 6? Well. What if I want an enemies to lovers?

All in all, this is 12 sims to be requesting. That's...that's a lot of sims. I'm kinda nervous about asking for that many. I do want to attempt a bachelor challenge after I'm done with NSB, so I'll have the blue gen in between as buffer space.

Submission rules:

Absolutely no pack restrictions. Yarrrr 🏴‍☠️

CC is okay, but please don't go too crazy w it. Medium to light CC is appreciated (hair, genetics, select clothing pieces but just not every single outfit please god)

Maxis mix. No alpha hairs. If something doesn't fit with my save, I'll change it. I prefer maxis match clothing; if you use alpha-ish clothing, just make sure that it fits enough with maxis match stuff that it doesn't look out of place.

DO NOT INCLUDE: defaults, presets, sliders, custom skintones (NOTE: with the exception of bare skintones and these sliders. They're already in my game).

PLEASE: Organize your CC before sending it to me! I don't mind how you do it, but just make sure that nothing is buried too far into folders that it doesn't read.

I prefer queer sims but if you really want to send me a straight sim I will accept them with open arms and love them regardless.

Include: Name, pronouns, sexuality, gender identity, and a description. As brief or long as you want. Some likes/dislikes/turnons/turnoffs are appreciated to give the sim some gameplay personality.

I give all sims slight makeovers once they hit young adult. If you send me a child sim, I will give them a teen makeover as well that matches their personality/child outfits, ofc. If you want your child sim to look a certain way once they age up, you may do this a few ways: you can send them to me as teens and let me age them down/do the child looks, send them as a child and a teen version, or just give me specific pointers for things you want.

I just love to see what kind of amazing sims everyone makes. To sign up just drop a comment below-first come first served. You can make a post with the hashtag #fernsfrenemies to show off your sim, or just send them directly to me with a photo of what they look like if you're not in the mood to post them.

As you may know from my page, I'm a gameplay first, story second simmer. So while I may have posts dedicated to story, there's no guarantee that your sim will be featured in a lot of my posts. I will absolutely introduce them though and they will pop up-don't worry. If your sim being posted often/regularly is important to you, maybe wait until I'm done with NSB and send in a sim for my BC! This is all to say I love LOVE playing with your sims and seeing them all participate in my sims life, but screenshots are not my first priority; playing the game is.
