Thinking about TADC fandom’s posting after episode five and how some of y’all are acting. Jesus. Yes, people are being mysoginists about Ragatha to some extent. Yes, she still didn’t handle the situation well In episode 5. Her and Jax are two different sides of the same coin. Whatever. But you know what’s weird? People acting like Ragatha is entitled to Pomni’s friendship, and that Pomni can’t befriend Jax as well.
Pomni, as she’s rightfully pointed out multiple times in the show, is a goddamn adult woman. She can do what she wants and she can be friends with whoever she wants! Nobody is owed someone’s friendship, Ragatha included. And they are friends! If you go back and look at the episodes, Ragatha and Pomni are friends! Pomni can befriend other people if she wants! Even Jax! Ragatha really needs to accept that. Pomni laughing at what Jax does and going to look at something in the hall with him doesn’t mean she’s not Ragatha’s friend. Y’all need to stop acting like Pomni wanting to spend time with Jax is and need to realize Ragatha is not owed Pomni’s every second. Even if she is nice.

It annoys me how the only fanfics/webcomics that get popular are Scarian centric. *Maybe* Flower Husbands or Treebark, once in a blue moon. Like I’m talking Midnight Strangers and DDVAU level of popular. Don’t get me wrong, I like Scarian. It’s fun. And I like DDVAU! But it annoys me how nothing else breaks containment ever. Other fics stay just in small little circles. Scarian stuff regularly infiltrates the entire fandom and gets art drawn of it and praises sang and people going “omg you should read this it’s a fandom staple!” I know it’s a side effect of 3rd life and the fact that Scar and Grian are the most subbed cc’s in the life series (i think) but good lord.
To liken it to another fandom I’m in, it’s got that Saiouma effect. Love Saiouma. Good ship. But because of its popularity every other ship suffers. Even the ones that don’t “interfere” with Saiouma! And then people get far too mean and entitled over it and treat other people badly and it’s just a mess.
