The Problem is mutual...Finding Co-Founders
I have been looking for a technical co-founder for my StartUp since some time now.And it has been one of the biggest handicap so far which has prevented us from launching ourselves, surprisingly for many people it is money.
A few days back I attended a tech event and met a couple of techies, who have the opposite problem- They dont have a business co-founder.
As I started narrating my handicap to one of the guys, he started smiling, and told me that the same problem he is facing, in reverse...
So what happens next, a business guy meets a techie, the problem is solved...
Not exactly, as both of the guys have passion for different products, and if one of the guy has not started, then he has at least his own idea, as in what he wants to do, and I dont think it is easy to give on your passion, unless and until you have been absolutely hammered trying out your passion and you wanna quit it...
Until then, you wont give up your position and would ideally like the other guy to work woth you, rather than vice-versa...
For the other guy, the same holds true and thus the status-quo remains and the problem also...
One of the guy with whom I had chat that day (techie), he called me up yesterday and offered me to join his StartUp as a Business Co-Founder...
The other guy, I emailed him yesterday, of what he has thought of working with me, and I have yet to hear from him...
So,all three of us are still stuck...
While the first guy had started, the second guy was thinking of starting...
What is the solution...
Guess meeting as many people as you can of the opposite domain, talk about your StartUp with them, try to help them in any manner you can, may be they will at least help you, if not join...In any case, its better...
And so the quest continues...
