Finding Us

Wrapped in each other, Out of reality, We've been gone for too long, In the race of life, now, we are lost. Stumbling trying to find our way, Came so far and got too ahead, Of everyone who were with us. I want to go ahead, But you want to go back. Doesn’t seem we agree on much. May be it is time to say our goodbyes, May be it is time for us to find new, horizons where each can fly. But the thing is, If we each go our separate ways, How are we ever gonna find ourselves again? Maybe it is time to take a gamble, and have a little faith, Hoping we will find the way back to each other again. Or maybe it is time for sacrifice, And let go of what we most want for the sake of us? A gamble is what it is then, A little faith to go with it too, For you mean so much. We get lost, Our paths may not be the same, But I believe they will, Cross again, our paths. We will meet again, When we are gonna, Make it happen. These paths are gonna take us places, Separately yes, but we will see the world, And look for each other, In every place, In every person, But will we find ourselves again? - AA & e.V.e Wonderful collab with the amazing @heartofmuse Hers and my lines are mixed in this! =)

I was a homeless person,

Wandering around the streets of a small town;

A small town with lonely streets;

I could barely see any living soul there

It was strange,

To see how the doors of every house were locked

I wandered,

With the hope of finding a place which I could call 'home'

But,

As the days passed,

My heart got heavier,

By carrying the increasing burden of my seemingly never changing reality and,

Slowly trying to kill my hopes with it

I felt like I couldn't handle it anymore;

I was tired ; I was sick ;

I was burnt out in all ways

"I think we need a break"

"We have been wandering around this small town for quite a long time now, don't you think?"

"I think it's better to leave this town now...,"

"..Maybe, this is not the right place to search for our home"

"Let's go somewhere else"

I decided to walk down this one road, not sure of the place where it leads to

"Seems like a long one"

I walked,

Sometimes, with no energy left after a long summer day;

Sometimes, completely drenched by rain;

Sometimes, with my legs numbed, by the cold winds;

And sometimes , enjoying the scent of the newly bloomed flowers that were dancing in the gentle breeze,

Until I found that place,

It wasn't home ;

It wasn't a place that I dreamed of,

Rather, it was an abandoned building

But still, I was happy to see a place where I could rest

Years passed;

And with every passing year, I have witnessed a lot,

I remember,

When I barely slept, under your leaking roofs;

When I painted your walls blue;

When I bought our calathea in a small pot,

I remember everything that I did with you;

Everything is beautiful;

Starting from the scars we gave each other,

To changing them into stars, together

Growing up with each other,

We have become each other's secret place, a comfort place,

Making you no longer an abandoned building;

And me,

No longer a homeless person.
