I don't mean to be rude, and I'm sorry to bother you with this ask, but how long do you think it'll take you to edit the chapters on Finding Utopia? Again, you've probably gotten asks like this before and I know you're working on other stuff and it'll probably take quite a while, but I just wondering if you had an estimate.

Okay so I'll be completely honest and say that I'm not sure.
Basically, I started writing the story in like 2012 when I was really young, and so the entirety of it is written in 1st person and there's a lot of plot holes. I started to fix it in the latest chapter that I posted (Ch 4 I think?) but since I have dyslexia I'm really struggling to edit it into 3rd person, like I just cant wrap my head around how the sentences need to change to fit the new POV.
Between changing the tenses, wording from 1st to 3rd person, and adding in parts of the story to fix the plot holes it got kinda overwhelming and I've given up for the moment. But I'd really really like to get it edited and start posting it again for you guys especially as I have 12 chapters sitting in my Google docs that I copied and pasted over from my old laptop, I just have no idea where to start 😅
It probably shouldn't be this much of a task, but editing and re-reading work is something that I kinda struggle with so it just feels like a mammoth task lol
I'm so sorry to keep you waiting for an update, but I promise this ask isn't rude at all. In fact it's really motivated me to want to try and at least edit and post something. Perhaps I could edit and upload the chapters one at a time instead of working on all 12 and then posting in one go? Maybe I could find a beta reader to to help me edit from 1st to 3rd person.
At the moment I don't have an estimate I'm so sorry, but at the time of writing this I'm now reaching for my laptop to see how far into editing the next chapter I got...
If you guys wouldn't mind really slow chapter by chapter updates then I guess I could start doing that??
Sorry this answer is so long, I just have many feelings towards Finding Utopia XD it's one of my favourite stories that I've written, and even tho I'm not currently posting it I genuinely think about it every day. So thank you for this ask and thank you for reading the story too!!! ❤️❤️❤️
