Here’s my shot of Edward Norton from the US Premiere of “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery”. Edward’s Glass Onion character Tech billionaire Miles Bron has been compared to billionaire Elon Musk in the press recently but more interesting is his claim to direct lineage to Pocahontas. ZUMA Press and Alamy both posted my shot of Edward Norton with the title commentary, “American actor EDWARD NORTON has discovered that the real-life Pocahontas, the romanticized and mythologized 17th century daughter of a Native American chief, is his 12th great-grandmother. The Oscar-nominated star learned of his family connection to the woman who married Virginia settler John Rolfe on Tuesday's episode of the PBS genealogical history show 'Finding Your Roots.' Today we have clients visiting the Late Baroque Sicilian Town of Palazzolo Acreide for a heritage experience. They'll start their day here, at the Municipal Hall's office of vital records with their local, expert English-speaking guide. Lena and her children John and Carole, will visit la Chiesa di San Sebastiano where Lena's parents married before emigrating to the United States in 1920. They'll visit the cemetery to locate the graves of Lena's grandparents. And, if all goes as we planned, they'll meet Lena's living cousins who live in Palazzolo Acreide. Yesterday, they spent the afternoon at a farm on the outskirts of town having a hands-on cooking experience with a local family featuring typical recipes. Today, more historic and cultural experiences are in store. Creating my new blog is the best way for me to openly express the ways I’m feeling around people that don’t even know me when I need an outlet. Most people that I know don’t know a lot about me, so using them as an outlet would be pointless. I like expressing my opinions and sharing my feelings openly to where I know I’m not being judged. You tend to meet a lot of new friends that have the same feeling you are when you open up in a crowded place full of strangers. For anyone going through anything alone, I am here. Today in Nicosia, Sicily our clients, the D'Alfonso family, met relatives they never knew they had. We at @experiencesicily did the research in advance, identified a local insider to help make introductions, and the rest is tears, smiles, and personal connection so deep, it's like the roots of a 75-foot-tall tree! Distant cousins from all over town came out along with the mayor to greet Michael and his adult children in front of city hall this morning. Tonight, they had dinner with more than a dozen new family members at the local pizzeria.
