I am so lost so here’s my thoughts for the week. This was also my free write so it doesn’t count as a counted post but here you go. 

I did what you suggested Fish. Idk if you really read these but I sat down and wrote questions about teamwork, and individuality, and what was better for us humans. I never decided what was better. I found myself completely lost actually. I reached a state of self-actualization this week.  I figured out that in my life I have been living in the shadows of others, and it is time for me to bloom. It's time for me to be who I want to be! But that's where I ran into the problem. I thought all my life about who I wanted to be, and most of the time it was this nice girl that everyone wanted to be friends with. But that is no more. I want to be a person I like. I want to love myself and who I am. If that means I dress weird like a lesbian, or if I dress like madonna at the met gala then that's me. If being me and being happy is listening to some weird-ass music, watching the clouds as I sip my coffee or soda then that's who I wanna be at that moment. No longer do I want to have the thought "what will they think" because the truth is no one gives a shit. You have to find who you truly are and live your life according to how you want to feel! I've been apart of teams my whole life and they've helped me get to where I am, but if you aren't allowed to be an individual on that team, and be yourself, why be on that team? I came to the realization that I was doing this with not only ballroom, work, school, but in my own family. I've cared so much about what my Mom and Dad will think, but the reality is, if they love me they will be okay with whoever I choose to be! I may not be changing my sexuality, or chopping my hair, but I've decided I need to make a change this week to be the person I want to be. Now. Not tomorrow, not next week,  but today. This may feel like a ton to take in, but that's where I am. Am I still lost? Of course. Do I know who I want to be or what I believe in? Of course not. But that's what this life is about we need to explore it, live it, and love what we're doing.
