regina couldn't help but chuckle at the blonde. a smart quip about not getting caught by emma's mother. she nodded assuring the other she was presentable. she rounded back to her desk as emma opened the door to reveal a smiling snow. "oh, you're both here! perfect!"

the brunette rolled her eyes at that. as if the woman didn't know the mayor and sheriff shared a lunch break almost daily. today's still food sat half ate, abandoned by the small couch in her office. snow had come a long way, rather quickly when it came to emma and regina's relationship. and when they got engaged, snow expressed nothing buy haappiness and support. so, she kept her snarky comment to herself, they started fresh. she sat down in her chair, a inward smirk playing at her lips. her eyes flicked to emma and then back to her soon to be mother in law. "what do we owe the pleasure, dear?"

regina regarded the younger brunette carefully. the way she paused to gather her words, the words themselves sobered the mayor a bit. she stood a little straighter, hearing the serious but hesitant tone loud and clear. she wouldn't lie and say she hadn't had similar thoughts recently.

brown eyes met brown and she nodded. "would you tell me where this is coming from all of a sudden?" she leaned and took red's hand pulling her to the couch to sit. "i promise to answer, just.. you look a bit.." she reached up and fixed a few out of place strands for the other.

the queen had no doubts the princess's parents had jumped at any and all opportunity to tarnish her name. besides, practically the whole realm knew who and what she was. The Evil Queen. what a title to have, what reputation to uphold. "i am sure you have, dear." she said stiffly, her eyes going back to the forest. "care to share?"

despite these facts, regina had no other intention than to give the blonde a life she wanted, rather than assigned. it was almost a shock when the product of true love herself, told regina her parents wouldn't let her marry for love. the brunette had made a choice then. and she really hoped she wouldn't regret it.

regina looked straight ahead out the carriage window as the blonde questioned her, “are you asking because you don’t have any clue?” she looked over to the other and arched a brow. “or because you know.”

they mayor smirked, her head tilting in consideration. "the way you nearly bust down my door, when you barged in.. has me begging to differ, dear." pushing her chair back and standing, rounding her desk to lean on the front.

she met the eyes the woman who had come to her place of business once or twice before for pleasure. but the expression in the others face had her skeptical.

"so what can i do for you, red?'

Years have started to pass during the curse even though time stood still. Every day the same as the day before. Her curse on everyone in the kingdom had become a boring hell for her. Regina sighed and pursed her lips as she walked down the sidewalk as she made her way to her office.

Regina tried to hide her smirk passing the diner seeing the tall brunette argue with the old woman. Even before the curse the Queen was curious what sharing her bed with the wolf woman would have been like. She made eye contact with Ruby and kept walking before growling as Mary Margaret bumped into her, as usual.

Something had to change. She needed excitement from this curse. Regina’s mood improved seeing the sheriff’s patrol card parked in front of Town Hall.

“At least tonight will be fun…”
