Reince Priebus got the boot as White House chief of staff because, among other things, the staff was fighting openly among its members.

Donald Trump enlisted Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to right the ship. Kelly signed on as chief of staff, kicked out some of the troublemakers and settled into his new gig as the president’s keeper.

Trump Says He’s Deliberately Refusing to Fill Hundreds of Top Agency Jobs

It’s a strange — one might even say dumb — move for someone who has promised major changes in D.C.

So, on the one hand it’s fine to laugh at the incompetence or planned incompetence (aka destroy administrative state) of the administration and enjoy it means the attempt to implement his policies will fall apart. Ex: the Muslim Ban EO...which I’ll admit only probably gets struck down because of the incompetence leading to it affecting people with green cards/visas.

On the other, imagine a Hurricane Katrina or an epidemic or any kind of major disaster that requires quick and competent response by this government...
