   Around the Oki Mariner, the water is generally calm and still - as still a sea can get, anyway even when out, not at the docks.    At the edge of their ship, there comes a break to the surface on the port side, water sliding upward higher until it reaches the deck and slides through the guardrails until a small mass of it is all the way through. Then and only then does the water lift again, tinting a darker blue before, finally, forming into the figure of the tall hero, who shakes their head, flinging excess droplets off their hair.    After a brief moment, pinprick eyes scan the horizon of the ship until his gaze falls upon the form of the blue-haired woman. “Ah, Sirius!” Webbed hands come together and the figure offers a stunning smile. “I do hope you and your ilk don’t mind my intrusion!”

Bakugou forced his head to turn towards where he was fairly certain the voice was coming from. He tried to talk, tried to ask the person what was going on, but his tongue felt like led in his mouth.

His stomach felt strange, he realized, and when he managed to force his eyes down to look at his shirt, he saw that there was a slowly-growing patch of something, thick and dark, spreading across the fabric. He couldn’t focus his vision enough to figure out what it was.

Exhaustion washed over him - who did this person think they were, anyway? If he wanted to sleep, then he’d sleep. And he was so fucking tired…
