I had a half finished journal binding project that had been laying around for actual years and finally decided to finish it up into an art journal for myself.

I’d originally made the cover and pages with a single signature binding in mind but realized I used way too thick of paper and that’s how it got abandoned. Chopped the cover in two, gave it a messy coptic binding and now I have an art journal whoo!

Finally broke out the art dice and rolled myself a prompt! No I didn’t intend the colors to match the dice but I’m not mad about it

(Laughing at myself that my brown wasn’t open tho. Might make a monochromatic mud piece because girl, brown is also a good color)

Look at my brushstrokes, boy. I used my tiniest paint brush for the details

This one I used more of a watercolor feel on. I liked it’s vibe right here so left it alone

I couldn’t get the colors right, the overlay effect isn’t what I wanted and I’m overall kinda meh about this one.

So I’m going to post it here and move onto the next
