I’m trying so hard to get past the pretty sketchbook propaganda and use my sketchbook as intended. So here’s a fun little look at some of the nonsense I got up to over the weekend

Finally making my way through Harrow the Ninth and it’s just making me love Ianthe even more

Pretty sure the Lyctors wear their robes all billowy but I wanted to give the moon coded princess a moon belt

Finally broke out the art dice and rolled myself a prompt! No I didn’t intend the colors to match the dice but I’m not mad about it

(Laughing at myself that my brown wasn’t open tho. Might make a monochromatic mud piece because girl, brown is also a good color)

Look at my brushstrokes, boy. I used my tiniest paint brush for the details

This one I used more of a watercolor feel on. I liked it’s vibe right here so left it alone

Holy shit guys these might be softest, most delicious cookies I’ve ever made. I want to eat the whole batch even without the jam. I’m so happy I thought to have a “test” cookie (giant one made out of the last scrapes of dough. That ones mine)

They became thumbprints! Lemon, plum and strawberry. I immediately ate a lemon one

Found a post on Pinterest that looked fun. Not quite sure I nailed it but it is a fun way to look at my collection of pencils. Eventually traced the link back to tumblr if you want to try your own color palette punnet squares (or however any of that is spelled)
