Dwight had been following him and the killer, hoping that at some point he could entertain them... but the killer was too concentrated of hitting Ace for a second time. And so he did, after a bit more of a chase.
It was then when the killer approached the older man, stomping on his read to keep him still. A mori. Oh, no. Dwight wasn’t going to let that happen.
Dwight was so nervous that adrenaline kicked in. He knew that once the killer had began murdering someone by their own hands, there was no way to stop it. Not even with a flashlight. So, what would be the best way to prevent it?
Killing Ace himself before the other did.
Sorry, Ace. This is the only way. He believed that he would prefer it this way, rather than allowing the killer to finish. Dwight would have preferred that way if that was him being murdered, after all.
If it hadn’t been for the adrenaline kicking it at that thought, Dwight wouldn’t have had enough time to do anything. He found a rock big enough nearby, grabbing it with both hands he threw himself on his knees in front of them as he lifted it before smashing it down on Ace’s head. First hit? Probably knocked him out. The second, third, fourth... those were probably the ones who did the job.
Thankfully it left the killer confused enough to have some time to run away.

11. Biggest lie?
Hoo boy. That’s tough. Nea likes to consider herself brutally honest; most of the time, she hardly bothers with social norms, much less shielding others from painful truths. And, honestly, there aren’t many reasons where Nea would be inclined to lie at all.
I think, though. that the one lie she does tell, over and over, is “I’m okay.”
12. Biggest flaw?
Nea’s biggest flaw is her inability to connect with people. Vulnerability is deeply unpleasant to her; it takes a lot for her to devote the emotional labor into trusting someone enough to let them take a peek under her coolgirl punk exterior. By then, most people have moved on.
13. Best accomplishment?
She hasn’t accomplished much in her life, and Nea takes this as a point of pride. She cares more about the identity she’s built–gay, nihilist punk–than any tangible mark she’s left on the world.
14. Greatest fear?

MurderSheWrote!OOTD This is me fingergunning my way into your heart. Aka: I went and saw Murder on the Orient Express with friends and enjoyed the murder mystery. But honestly the highlight of today was the Pizza Hut aftwards. I love pizza.

★ Do they have a favorite scary movie? Book? Show?
Since a movie has been chosen, the scary show he’d like the most would be The X Files. The main theme are aliens, after all. He wants to believe.

♒ If they could choose how to die, how would they want to go?
She wouldn’t want a painless death, that’s for sure. Pain is a thrill for her due to the adrenaline rush it causes, perhaps drowning? The girl is really fucked up and lives on the thrills of panic and uncertainty - but to her there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, drowning definitely.
✔ Are they holding a grudge against anyone?
Nope! Nothing really ever truly bothers Lauren since she doesn’t give a shit about anything, so it is very very very difficult to make Lauren have a grudge against anyone. If there is any signs of anger, it’s probably just feigned to get a reaction out of someone.
