god watching the 100 and seeing everyone at the ark FIGHT to keep finn alive was so insane. one life for the EIGHTEEN that he murdered, i feel like is very reasonable. why would you ALMOST give up a truce with the grounders for one FUCKING GUY.
my biggest unpopular opinion is the i love finn from the 100. his biggest crime is being annoying (and kinda cheating on raven). like genuinely why else would you dislike him?
oh cus he killed all those grounders?? so hate bellamy too. and clarke. and literally every other character. he’s my misunderstood bae idc. like obvs what he did was bad, and i don’t support his actions, but like people just bag on him extra hard cus they find him annoying.
the scene of his & clarkes reunion will always make me so sad. i do think his arc is realistic— going from someone so adamantly against violence, who tried so hard to create peace with the grounders, to someone who kills 20 innocents. it shows how horribly war can change a person. how trauma can change a person, i just wish it was better developed because it came out of nowhere. it was such drastic change of his character but there was no build up. and isn’t is sad, that he labored so hard for peace, and his death is what brought them it? his act of unnecessary violence and his execution is what brought about the change he originally wanted.
i love him idc.
Rewatching the first episode of the 100, some stuff doesn't make sense but I don't care, here are my thoughts as someone who has watched the show before.
1. These were kids. Fuck the Ark. Float them all.
2. Kane was correct. Should've started killing people sooner, but also, they should've been upfront about it.
3. Chancellor Jaha is very selfish and holier-than-thou. Why do the rules get to bend for you, but everyone else gets floated? I thought yall were dying?
4. Jasper is a lover-boy (derogatory)
5. Humanity has never deserved to survive, don't know what the fuck Abby is talking about.
6. Fuck you, Finn. Go get tortured by Grounders.
Hii Finn. So yesterday, a couple of us were sitting around the fire and Clarke and Raven showed us these MASTERPIECES!!! I was taken aback. I never knew you were so talented!! So, my curiosity got the better of me and well I couldn’t help but snoop around in your underground bunker. Ooops.. I wasn’t supposed to let you know I know about your hideout. Well, Clarke told me about it and told me to keep it a secret. But don’t worry no one else will find out! Anyways, I was looking in your bunker and found out you were hiding such beautiful creations from everyone..
Can you please make one for me? And, if I’m not too much of a burden teach me how to make something small myself?? Talk to you later Finn.

The 100: S2E8 Spacewalker
I feel differently about Finn every single time I watch this show.
I don't think it's an accident that he is the first character to say that they need to "do better this time around."
He was the first example of "love" clouding his emotions, causing him to behave in a way that seems out of character.
That being said, by the time he dies his character does seem to be at a dead end.
