tbh i like how domestic wardo and finn are. i think they are just uncomplicated and enjoy it. finn’s life is quiet (or he wants it to be quiet) and simple, but not plain (at least to his eyes). he’s a lot like tom in that realm, but whereas tom seeks that quietness because that’s how he feels at ease and can relax, he can effortlessly snap back into action, into getting things done and making people work. finn seeks that quietness because he can’t exactlybe authoritative, and he can’t be outgoing or social. he can enjoy social activities and would definitely have fun in the bonding challenge, being surrounded by people that make an effort to include him while not pushing him too far (like lucy), but he’d also enjoy getting home at the end of the day and read and watch tv and be alone (or with wardo, for that matter. he’s gotten comfy enough with his company). he can also be assertive, and he can also be a leader, but more often than not it’ll stress the living shit out of him, so he prefers others to take charge.
tom’s also exactly not social, but that’s more of an interpersonal manner. he works with people. he manages people. he inspects people. and he has to talk to people, which he can do perfectly in a work enviroment. finn can’t do that.
anyway, what i mean is that i really love how domestic wardo and finn are and how wardo seeks that domesticity, because it’s something finn can definitely offer. he did the teenagehood to adulthood switch thing easily (as easy as it can get given his family situation)
i see them doing all the boring adult shit like paying bills and taxes and balancing checkbooks and cleaning the house or buying groceries (and having a list with all the items. and forgetting it) and agreeing to eat lunch together and coming home after a long day of work or college to watch tv while finn rests his head on wardo’s lap and shaw (finn’s husky) naps on the chair it’s claimed as its own. lying on the bed against the headboard while finn reads a book and ed studies for a test. taking care of the pups. finn accepting wardo takes care of the pups while he’s out for a bit 2 get food for them. i love it. i love them. and i don’t know abt wardo but i know finn’d enjoy it. he’d ask stuff to wardo and about wardo and talk and tease and listen and just slowly start to feel cozy around this person he was so intimidated by at first
and u_u he’ll become a vet and wardo will be a nurse i think and i think that sort of clicks and it’s cute for them.
