If only they’d be that upfront lol. I mean it seems they have so much money they don’t give a fuck, so why can’t they make it gay with Rey/Jannah at the least? But no. We gotta have an angsty dynamic with the “tragic” white male villain who already killed his dad and murdered many others (millions or billions, a lot is a lot). I’m not surprised, just disgusted. TLJ was so bad - especially in terms of Rey’s entire storyline - I kind of doubted they could back pedal enough to erase all its shittiness. But now my tiny hope is gone.
