“The detective I saw before is still around,” Marinette informed her, tucking the money into her own bag that was still hanging on her shoulder. “Adrien? He's staying with one of your new runners. The one that lives on my floor.”
Chloé stared at her.
“He's definitely into me,” she added on.
The first question was, “He's staying there?”
“Yeah,” Marinette confirmed, resting her palm on the desk and adjusting how she was sitting to be more comfortable. “Childhood friends or some nonsense. Adrien's on holiday for a couple of weeks before he has to go back. I assume he'll leave the city.”
“What are you doing.”
It wasn't a question.
She grinned. “I'm using my feminine wiles to help.”
