a piece i commissioned from @sidsinning, of marinette and kagami from my marigami fic think twice —wherein marinette changes her hero identity, is confused about her own feelings, and kagami is upset with her. but they get to dance at the end, and maybe things are fine?
i love this piece so much. sidsinning really captured kagami's expression and made the dance look improvised and wild, but they're also painted in a warm light that makes it feel very gentle nonetheless. and marinette's outfit? so good.

Summary:
Marinette saw Cerise pick up the knife and trace the tip of it, expression twisting. Her finger came away red and slightly pricked.
Marinette’s brows shot to the sky and she gasped at the display. Had Cerise pressed into it deliberately to…?
“Hey! What are you—”
“Ow!” Cerise yelped, the knife clattering to the floor, “Wow, that's sharp!"
Marinette grabbed her arm in a panic, but that strange smile greeted her when she looked up. It's like Cerise had gotten exactly what she wanted. But that couldn't be it, right?
She held up her finger to Marinette's, which was now just as mangled.
"We match, at least," She said softly, deadly soft.
Marinette is left scrambling after a long-coming confession to Adrien goes completely sideways. Isolated and reeling from the fallout, who better suited to come to her rescue than the darkness that lurks in her shadow?

Surprise! Bet you guys thought I would never release the ultimate toxic lilanette fic, but here it is! Technically, I'm not done with it...I know, I know, cue the booing. But! It's almost done! I just had to get the first parts out so I'd stop obsessing over them.

Nope! Did you know it's actually possible to exceed AO3s word limit if you try to paste 60k+ words with special spacing? I did, haha.

Instead, I plan to update this on a once every 1-1.5 week schedule. No, this wont be a fic I say I'll update and then 8 years pass. I actually wrote the majority of it out already...it just took my heart and soul but who needs em, right?

Anyways, if you've made it this far, I guess you should know that this is different breed of fics than I usually write. It is more serious and not as "fluffy" as one would expect from a typical pairing fic for ml. It's toxic lilanette, heavy on the toxic, and it is a slow burn. I loved every second of writing it, in other words lol. Read the tags!!!! I will put warnings as the chapters go if it's super important (oh and they will be)

concept: marinette breaks up with adrien badly, in a way that makes no sense and he knows immediately something is wrong. then she self isolates and her friendship with alya is strained, and he realizes it's not inside his head, there is something seriously wrong. attempts talking it over with ladybug but she's off too. so he starts visiting her as chat and she confides things to him that only confirm his suspicion that she still loves him and her break up reasons were bullshit, and instead of him learning the truth they get to a point where eventually she says something self deprecating about herself that's so wrong he pushes back until it's obvious the cat boy trying to console her is her ex.

These images are inspired by a Miraculous Medieval fantasy AU that I've been working on over the last ten months or so- they depict scenes from the childhood friendship and courtship of the baker's daughter, Marinette Dupain-Cheng (Ladybug) and Prince Adrien D'Agreste (Chat Noir) over many years. There are full frames and close-ups of each scene.
Thank you so, so much @amarilke. I owe you so much- if you hadn't shared your original vision of these two with me to begin with, this story might never have made it beyond a fleeting thought. ❤️

Decided to do a Gabriel Agreste Redesign as the first of my redesign project, cuz I gotta say his old design, the white one and the og just sucked 😭 (sorry Thomas) so yeah I had some fun with it, I wanted to keep his colours (white, red and black) but give him an outfit that would scream to me that he is a wealthy man, who is strict and who is into fashion, maybe even a designer himself, the rose in all his clothing is supposed to symbolise his love to Emilie, that she is always close to his heart, as well as his miraculous, that is hidden under the rose.
In the right below corner (of the last image) we have a look at Gabriel before Emilie succumbed to her desease, I also changed the shape of his glasses to be a bit more “designer looking”
