I was a bit in a hurry, but I was able to translate this to English before Arctic lights comic con! I'll have 20 of this with me as printed copies, and I'll have to figure out where to sell this online... The story kinda took over me, since I'm already sketching pages for the next chapter...

I think my favorite thing about the Moomin comics is that the characterization of Sniff as a greedy opportunist isn't even done in a "oh what a silly rogue'' way no he's gen just an heartless bastard.

I know, Tumblr is not the greatest venue for Finnish comics. In Finnish at least. But this is a good one. The title is in english " I know I am Overweight" and it is first book of three. The two following handle Sexuality and Mental health, respectively.
And it is not just beautifully drawn/painted through out. The very persoona tale is great, eye opening and it makes one hurt s bit too. No, not because the author is nude all the way That is just the surface. It is because the author is nude and vulnarable about being harassef about her body by almost all of society.
And the book is like it's author, smart, funny, empathic and nerdy. And brutally frank. I know, I used to date and live with Sari and she is an absolutely cool person. So happy we are still friends.
A good way to learn Finnish. Ja suomalaiset ei omaa mitään tekoayytä.

We’re both allergic.
We got all my works up on the walls without anyone dying, getting injured or any of the frames falling on the floor, yay! Usually there’s at least some kind of a mishap that’ll complicate things, but this time everything... went suspiciously smooth. I hope this goes on in the vernissage. Which is tomorrow, eep!
