who are Feng Xin and Mu Qing fooling with their "we hate each other" act tho? if they truly hated eah other they wouldn't be hanging around each other literally all the time, the times one is mentioned without the other in the entire novel can probably be counted on one hand, they go on missions together constantly, they talk often enough to devise a plan to help Xie Lian disguised as their own disciples together, when Feng Xin had less lanterns than Mu Qing at the mid autumn festival he just didn't care, their fights are like bickering and teasing with some physical exercise thrown in, they actually frequently agree on things, they're basically inseperable, where one goes the other goes

now, there's other heavenly officials who dislike each other. Shi Qingxuan very openly dislikes Pei Ming, he's the one heavenly official that Shi Qingxuan doesn't get along with, and they're never seen on missions together, never interact outside of official meetings and events and are also just generally not seen interacting with one another very often. Shi Qingxuan turns down an invite by Shi Wudu and Ling Wen bc Pei Ming will be there

so yeah, clearly Feng Xin and Mu Qing are putting on a poor act, no one holds a grudge for that long anyway
