I have an au where Fiona and Hugh start living in modern times and set up a shop where they sell fruits, veggies, and natural honey. But since Hugh's bees live in him, would it be possible for them to live outside in a normal beehive?? Yes, right? A rant about Fiona’s mistreatment in this fandom <3 !

I love Fiona so much, but sometimes I feel like Fiona is very mistreated 😞I’ve seen so many people put her struggles as a character aside to baby her, and it makes me so upset! Guys Fiona is not a helpless baby , she’s incredibly strong character both physically AND mentally !!! Let her be powerful ! She could literally beat Hugh in a fight idk what else y’all want.

I get babying her because she went through a lot or just saying she’s cute, but just infantilizing her because she has a disability is, let me be frank, weird! Really weird. She’s 16, not a small precious bean, and yes she can’t speak but it doesn’t mean she’s helpless at all.

Obviously not everybody does this, only some people, so if I’m not talking about you don’t worry about it 🫶🫶 also this is my opinion !

They’d get teased a lot by the other children

Soulmate jokes were common for a while much to their dismay

Hugh tries where possible to help Fiona come out of her shell a little bit

He doesn’t push her too far though if it’s clear she’s uncomfortable

The two of them would definitely have created their own form of communication for the times when she prefers not to speak

They both get awkward when people are around so they tend to try and keep most of their relationship private

Fiona would probably know at least half of his bees by name (After a very long time)

She also hopes she’ll find him again (If she didn’t die)
