Ready or Not || Katie & Fiona

Katie announced to her via text message two hours before that she's coming over. It has been about a month that she’d been staying at Jamie’s flat, and due to recent events, and her experience with having these awkward situations with Jamie, she figured it was the time the two took a slight... break. Fiona hasn’t answered Katie, and would probably a bit flabbergast when she’d show up. She really didn’t believe the story about her mother. But as she walked towards Fiona’s house she did feel a bit anxious about the outcome.

Mostly, she’d believe it when she’d see it.

Katie was convinced that either way, her friend wouldn’t leave her outside on the curve. But she enjoyed entertaining the possibility. And just getting to this kind of alterations would be a real accomplishment for Fiona. At least, in Katie’s eyes. Rebellion comes in baby steps, Fiona didn’t need to get there yet. She knocked on the door, "Fee, it’s me. Open up.”

Talking it out || Fiona & Imogen

Imogen got dressed in a hurry as she wanted to get to Fionas as fast as possible. She didn't know what was up with her lately. Owen had been posting some pretty nasty things about her on Tumblr though, so she could understand. Imogen rolled her eyes thinking about Owen. "What a dick," she said to herself as she quickly did her hair. As she was looking into the mirror to pull her hair into two messy pigtails, she saw that the new cut on her wrist was in full view. She finished doing her hair then looked at it more closely. Rubbing her fingers over it, wanting to make it disappear, make all of the scars disappear, she decided that the best thing to do was to change her shirt. She didnt want Fiona or anyone else to find out that she'd been cutting herself. They all have their own problems to worry about, I don't want mine to add to that, she said in her head as she pulled a dark long sleeved shirt over her head. 

Once she was done getting ready she peeked in on her dad who was already asleep. Ever since her was diagnosed with Dementia, he'd been falling asleep earlier and earlier. He was also forgeting simple things like, the fact that Imogen didnt like seafood, or the days of the week. Thank God that her mom had gotten a housekeeper to come stay with them because other wise, the house would be a wreck. Imogen hated what was happening to her dad though. Everyday it would just get worse, and sometimes Imogen had a hard time handling it. But she had her own secret ways to deal. Finally, she left her house, got in a taxi, and arrived at Fionas. She knocked gently and waited for an answer.

Slamming his door behind him, Joel headed into his room. Jackie was out now. She'd be out for a while, he'd figured. After all, he did not want her walking in on this. Besides. This was... fucked up. In all truth, he was actually scared about it. But then again, it was Fiona. It wasn't like she was going to torture him or anything. Slowly, he began undoing his shirt buttons, slipping it over his head. What the fuck was he getting himself into? This was a bad idea. Always would be a 'bad idea'. But Jesus Christ. A dare was a dare. As much as he hated to admit it, he was almost obliged to complete it. He unbuckled his belt with the clanging of metal upon metal, threw it aside to the floor and unbuckled his pants. Bad. Idea. Bad. Idea! His mind continued to scream at him as he padded into the bathroom, not even sure how this ever came around. When did he agree to this? When he asked for dares? Yeah, but not like this. He'd wait to take his boxers off. He'd wait until she came around and then that was when it would er... begin, as it were.
