Working on a more all-inclusive version for choros and one that includes grauls too. But here’s this for now.

Gradually developing more biomes, these are concepts of animals that live in the savannah woodland. (The fire choro and little forest horse are not new designs but I’m denoting that they live here, too.)

Just the Choros + Ancestral Eagle

Someone recommended wolf eagle as a name for the modern nonsapient choro relative (ancestral eagle.) I’m starting to like this as one of the names choros would call them. Choros hunted all the oppy world wolves to extinction, so calling them wolf eagles would be derogatory and ironic in that they outlived their namesake. They’re the only wolves choros couldn’t get to.

Might be hard to write about without an omniscient narrator though.

Fire choro talons.

Fire choros have three forward facing digits and one backward facing. Their talons are heavier built and stubbier than lightning. Recent lightning ancestry can cause a fire choro to have gray talons, (like Ash) but it’s not common. Recent rain ancestry can cause them to have more flexible talons, but not fully zygodactyl.
