You ever find yourself thinking, "You know who'd be a great help with these lanterns? My boyfriend with the fire proficiency."
............They’re made of plant.
1:45am - A fire engine went past my house. When i looked my window, i noticed smoke from round the corner of street. I hope the firemen can put out the flames and no one is hurt.
1:48am - There’s a lot of smoke. Like a lot more. Very dark as well.
1:50am - The fire engine just drove off. There’s still smoke coming from that general direction. I’m not sure what’s going on.
1:52am - I think they drove round the avenue to get a better spot to aim at the fire. The smoke is a foggy colour now.
1:55am - The smoke had decreased dramatically. Keep up the great work, firemen! *fingers crossed everyone is okay* I can’t see exactly where it is but I’m assuming it’s the house near the lil alleyway near it from the smoke trail but i could be completely wrong.
2am - There’s wisps of smoke now so I think the fire had been contained by quite a bit in comparison as to what it was. I can see as there are houses in between my house and the road this is happening on. I didn’t even hear or smell any burning. I literally woke up to flashing lights outside.
i almost lit my porch on fire o.O
So my aunt was in Egypt and brought some perfume sticks here and yesterday I sat in front of my computer - stayed on tumbr all night like always - and I lit one of these perfume sticks and after half an hour I thought everything smelled so confusing and when I lifted the wood case my whole English stuff was on fire and the cover of my printer was molten. And I started laughing SO HARD because I can’t even handle a fucking perfume stick.
I been thinking about this a lot, but about three-four years ago my house burned down. I guess now I'm afraid of getting burned and lighters. Okay so last year my friend thought it would be hilarious to through lit matches at me and do one of those party tricks with the aerosol can and a lighter towards me. I started to cry and only did she stop when she ran out of matches and when she burned her arm with the aerosol flame thrower thing. ugh anyways enjoy that story
My life is held together with String and Wishes.
For some reason my father decided to build his house out of wood and cardboard in the middle of a fire-prone area.
Three times my mother and I have returned from our summer show to wildfires raging through our countryside.
The uncontrollable wildfire currently ravaging my childhood county took a sharp right turn and headed east sometime early sunday morning (into a less populated, untimbered area) just before it would have headed north into the area where I grew up. There is a flat line at the northern border of the fire like someone drew it on the map with with a ruler. My mother was here with me when we found out the Palouse was burning (Damnit, Cole, not right now!), and had a van full of clothes and supplies already packed and in use on this side of the state from our summer show, so if the fire had destroyed our home, she wouldn't have lost absolutely everything.
My uncles and aunties are out of level 2 evacuation notice, back down to level 1. My mother's home is safe, all of our things are safe, and my mother felt secure enough to leave me today and go back to my aunt's place near Portland.
No homes have been damaged, no livestock killed (everything was evacuated to a couple of safe places), and the fire is something like 40% contained. Barring unforseen circumstance, the house is safe. My mother's life and livelyhood are safe.
Last night i played with fire I played with fire but didn’t get burned I laughed at them all All of them who have ever said “Don’t play with fire. You might get hurt” HA! HA HA HA!
