Hit me with your best shot!
After a stressful week, I had to de-stress and calm down. It's quite ironic how going to a shooting-range was the first place I had thought to go to.
My heart was beating extremely fast before I triggered my first bullet. I had the safety up for about 3 minutes before I took my stance and aimed my target, and pulled the trigger.
It was an overwhelming feeling pulling a trigger. But once I saw where my first bullet landed, I knew I was good to go. One after another, the bullets were released from the weapon.
40 rounds in, I realised that I was going a bit fast for someone who's never held a gun EVER! I stopped for a bit and savoured my remaining 10 rounds.
If I hadn't asked my trainer to pull the target back a few meters, I probably would've had a cleaner end result.
Nonetheless, I had a great time, and I was calm and collected after the 50 rounds. Can't wait to go back and fire more bullets!!
*How obvious is it that I rush wrote this post?? My apologies. Will make the next one better!
