Random Skylanders headcanon that has next to no founding in actual lore:

Spitfire is what a fire viper would (or should) look like if they hadn't been bred to grow petrified darkness, or if their species wasn't entirely evilized (minus the wings since we know Spitfire is 'tech enhanced so they're most likely prosthetics). I know Spitfire is a flame spirit, but you guys can see the vision, right?

They're not exact, but I dunno, it's always rubbed me the wrong way that fire vipers are the only species we see that has petrified darkness on its body without being evilized. I think the two could at the very least be related, if not the same species

Fire Viper redesign

I originally drew this sometime back in September, but at the time I wanted to do my own take on the Fire Viper just for funsies. I took inspiration from both the Swap Force and Academy designs.

The Fire Viper is a large snake-like monster who serves as one of the bosses in Skylanders: Swap Force. This particular Viper was summoned by Kaos to stop the Skylanders at Twisty Tunnels.

The Fire Viper shares its kind's ability to fly, as well as the power to breathe fire and blast fireballs at its opposing enemies. It can also create spiked lava spheres that move around the area.
