how can I import the brushes to use in firealpaca? I really can't make this.

Hi! Sorry for the late help but here is a helpful tutorial for importing brushes into FA; http://firealpaca.com/en/topics/Add+brushes%21 If you mean to add multiple brushes from your old computer to the new one, you can try copying the “Confiq folder” of your old version into the new one (Help -->Open Confiq folder) - that has worked for me before. As long as you have the brush folders and the accompanying code files(text files), it should be fine. But make sure to make a copy of the original folder in case anything is out of place later.

Help! I use firealpaca 64 bit and when I try to use colors while sketching it only comes out as black???

Is it my graphics card or is my download corrupt?

i tried to crete drawing in firealpaca with transparent background, but seems like it doesnt work… any tips? how to save a picture so the background is transparent?

hi im new to firealpaca/digital art. so, when i erase on a custom colored canvas, it erases the color of the canvas too, revealing a transparent background. is there any way i can stop it from erasing the canvas? thank you!

It sounds like you’re erasing on a layer that already has color in the entire layer. I think there are a few options

1) don’t use an eraser and instead paint over the area with the color of the background.

2) if you’re making something new, paint on a new layer instead. this way, when you use an eraser, it will only erase that new paint.

3) If you’re erasing from that filled/painted layer anyway, make a new layer underneath and fill it with that missing color

these are what I would use in most cases like this anyway. hope this helps!
