Hey, do you have a list of compatible tablets? I am a beginner and it was recommended that I try a simpler, cheaper tablet to get started on digital art. However, this leads to lesser known or non-mainstream tablet brands like Monoprice, Huion, or VisTablet, and I'm not sure if they are compatible with FireAlpaca.
Hello dear Anon,
I do not have a list of tablets that work with FireAlpaca because as far as I know there are none that don’t. However, FireAlpaca does not respond to all features of certain tablets, so keep that in mind when purchasing a new or used tablet. I have currently used two tablets with this program: Wacom Bamboo Fun and Cintiq Companion Hybrid and both worked fine. I know some people that have used other Wacom tablets that work well and even a few generic brands. Do keep in mind that some people do experience issues with various tablets which are generally solved by playing with some of the settings in FA, or plugging the tablet in before or after the program is open. This can happen with name brands like Wacom and generic brands as well.
