HEADCANON.

While Dominique has a good relationship with her mother, she is closer with her father and Gabrielle more than either of them. She goes through a rough patch with her mother while she is ‘ dealing with things ‘ ( to be expanded upon ) in around years 3-4 and Gabrielle becomes her main role model for an older witch and woman ; it becomes much easier to confide in her than in her mother, or even her father whom Dominique is very close to. Out of the cousins, she is closest to Rose ; they are the ones most likely to meet up voluntarily, and outside of family gatherings.
