FINISHING THE WORK

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. -John 17:4 Yesterday God's message was about FAITH IN GOD'S SPOKEN WORD. Ang rumemha talaga sa akin is that God speaks His Words for a purpose and God's words can't go back to Him without fulfilling its purpose. It will also succeed in fulfilling the purpose it was made for. Today, ang ganda ng text where this verse came from. It was Jesus' prayer before His passion. And what made me really love this is the resolve Jesus had na even though relatively short ang ministry ng Panginoon, HE FULFILLED HIS PURPOSE. Today, the Lord is showing how we can bring real glory to God: BY FINISHING THE WORK. We usually think that we give glory to God by achieving a lot of things, having lots of ministries, preaching to a lot of people... etc.... Yes, maganda yan. But at the end of the day, the question remains: NATAPOS BA NATIN YUNG PINAPAGAWA NI LORD? NAKAABOT BA TAYO SA FINISHED LINE? NATUMBOK BA NATIN YUNG PURPOSE NYA SA PINAPAGAWA NATIN? Many of us, we are fire starters. But our goal should be FIRE FINISHERS. Sa karamihan sa atin, God's work is already beginning or still at work. Nagbitaw na si Lord ng salita. The purpose, the vision has already been casted. So we shouldn't give up or stop until God's work is finished. The only time it we stop is if God is giving a new direction. Kailangan we see what God is seeing. We need to feel what God is feeling. We need to do what God is doing. AND FINISH IT. Finishers give glory to God, not starters. Finish God's work in us and through us. Jesus is a FINISHER. Dapat ganun din tayo. 😊😊 🔥🔥
