“Are you kidding? He’ll be thrilled! He’s been showing me pictures of baby things for months. Things that are way too small for the triplets. But we definitely shouldn’t start without him. That would making him angry, or pouty.”

Tadashi beamed. Soon, soon, he would be able to feel another life growing inside him. He would be able to bring another child of Kei’s into the world.

He wanted to go find Shouyou. But he also didn’t want to leave the comfort of Kei’s arms. Feeling happy but restless, he presses up against Kei, nuzzling his neck again, a pleasant rumbling coming from his chest.

“Kei…Kei… I don’t want to start without Shouyou but…. could I…while we wait….”

“Well we won’t start without him, I promise,” Kei says, laughing a bit as his hand gets trapped between them. Tadashi presses against him like a cat begging for cuddles and in a way he is. He rubs his face against his neck, breathing in his scent, and making him feel warm inside. 

Its not hard to know what Tadashi wants. After their conversation, its something he wants too. With the hand not trapped between them Kei slides his fingers into Tadashi’s hair and gently scratches his scalp. 

“Yes. Anything you want, Tadashi.”

“Here?” Shouyou specifies, nuzzling his boyfriend’s navel as he keeps ridding him of his clothes. He wants to kiss every inch of Tadashi’s skin freely and all that clothing needs to go.

“Jealous?”

Kei reaches out, wrapping his long fingers around Tadashi’s wrist and pulling him closer, “About...?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Kei runs a hand through his hair, yawning and rubbing his eyes with his other hand. He’s sitting up but not out of bed yet. Winter in the wastes is unforgiving, and while the castle itself is warm thanks to Shouyou’s continued presence among other charms, the idea of the cold is still keeping him under the covers. 

“I’m the great and powerful wizard, feared from coast to coast, scourge of the wastes and consumer of hearts. All will tremble before me... yada yada.”

Yawning again he reaches out, attempting to grab the sleeve of Tadashi’s night shirt, “Come back to bed. Or I’ll eat your heart or something.”

"Is there a reason you're smelling me so much?"

Kei pulls back from Tadashi a little, blinking in confusion, “Have I been? Sorry, I didn’t notice...”

At first he brushes it off as nothing. They go back to silently enjoying each other’s company, him reading off his phone and the omega playing some game or another on his DS (it was probably pokemon). But before he knows it Kei is leaning in again, pressing his nose to Tadashi’s hairline and breathing in deeply. When Tadashi looks at him again he shakes his head a little sheepishly.

“Sorry. I don’t know what it is but you smell really good right now?”

The Late Spring

As soon as the first light was shining through his window, Shouyou got up to prepare for the day. The young lord is due back today from his trip to his family home and he needed to get ready. After a warm bath, he goes into the adjacent room and get it ready for his lord’s arrival. His sweet scent still lingers after weeks of being away, Shouyou has noticed. It’s still not the same as having him here...

Changing the bed sheets and pillow, Shouyou makes sure to mark the pillows with his own scent as instructed. Everything was organized and cleaned to Tadashi’s liking. He wants to make sure everything is perfect for him. Unable to hold back his smile, Shouyou keeps shuffling around the room before he is summoned for Tadashi’s arrival.

Kei sighs as Tadashi’s fingers trace over his face. The headache had come suddenly and painfully, tension pulling his skin tight and making his ears ring. Eyebrows kitted together he rubs roughly at his temples even though he knows it won’t help. 

The other thing that isn’t helping is the fact that he’s not at home, or at Tadashi’s. Lying on the floor of the clubroom isn’t exactly ideal.
