How to Make a Mountain (Thursday) This new collective — Patrick Breiner and Josh Sinton on saxophones, Jesse Stacken on piano, Adam Hopkins on bass, Martin Urbach on drums — takes a strenuous approach to group improvisation. Prior to its 10 p.m. set, the entity known as PascAli, consisting of the bassists Pascal Niggenkemper and Sean Ali, will play an 8 p.m. set with the percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani.
