It wasn’t quite as cold here as it was in Arendelle…

Kristoff guessed that it was because the Southern Isles weren’t located in the smack middle of a fjord with a large, snowy set of mountains looming over it. Still, he wasn’t here to enjoy the scenery. 

He was here to settle a score.

While Anna had insisted that she wanted to be the one to go over and “Smack Hans in his perfect teeth”, Elsa had forbade her to do it. Kristoff had been present during their argument over the Prince and, out of the goodness of his heart and partly out of annoyance, he volunteered himself to go and talk with the Prince. 

As he sat in the undercarriage of the ship, he’d began to regret his decision. He was no dignitary! Nor was he of any royal descent… he was just a boy raised by trolls that harvested ice and hung out with a reindeer. And a Princess. And a Queen. And a talking snowman…

“Relax… it won’t be so bad…” he assured himself. After all, it’s not like he’s going to hurt you… he’s got like a million brothers and a father that had to be angry for how he’d handled things in Arendelle. They had to be on his side, right?

Sighing heavily, Kristoff looked out the port window as the ship approached the docks of the Southern Isles. He then stood and straightened up his shirt Anna had bought for him. She’d bought him almost and entire new wardrobe, much to his objection, but, he wasn’t going to lie, they were nice, comfortable clothes.

As the ship docked, he ran a hand through his long, shaggy hair as he gathered his bag and walked up to the docks, stepping a pointed boot into the Southern Isles. 

“Well… here goes nothing…”

❛ well if i tell you who, it’ll ruin the surprise! ❜ her delicate hand moved to top his, she wouldn’t C O N F I R M it now because she had a bigger plan, but it was amazing the he could already tell by her actions. a laugh parted the queen’s lips as she heard their daughter run down the hall again, and it was very obvious who’s personality she took to. the young princess was so much like her mother it was almost funny. she looked over at her H U S B A N D and smiled before placing a kiss on his cheek. ❛ but i think you have a pretty good idea what’s going on today. ❜ she teased, trying to be vague.

⊰☼⊱— Apparently Maggie was fine and she only needed rest, but the little princess knew it was a more serious matter when Maggie didn’t tuck her in bed that night, and instead, an old maid from the castle from the Arandelle catle’s staff did. Emberley was worry and couldn’t sleep, so she was happy when a familiar face entered her room to say good night.

Her father’s question was odd, but Emberley was happy to indulge him with her knowledge. “They’re birds!” She said the obvious, “but they also have fire! Like you and me!” Excitement was all over her voice, she got off bed and went to look into her baggage for a book with thousand stories. Each night, she’d chose one and Maggie’d read it to her before sleep.

The little princess flipped the pages quickly until she stopped in a page that showed a majestic orange bird. “Look Papa, this is a Phoenix! Can you read it for me, please?” Emberly asked with wide and hopeful open eyes.

The tale told the story of the Sun King’s daughter when she was send to Earth to explore and learn form humans.

After her adventures in the mortal world, the princess asked her father to return since she fell so much in love of live. Her father, the Sun, granted her her wish transforming her into a phoenix and he blessed her with powers to preserve life and also she was given eternal live. Now her tears could heal any wound and she would not die, instead, the phoenix would burn into flames and would rise from the ashes again. She lived happily thousand of lives and gave birth to her descendants in Earth.

With the years, as more the humans learnt about this creature and its magic, they became greedy and almost wiped out all the offsprings of the princess. However, the survivors escaped and swore never again interfere with human affairs.

By the end of the story, Emberly was deeply sleep in her father’s lap.

{♔} —- "Oh dearest, it's alright!" The King was quick to his daughter's side, where he knelt down to one knee. He cupped Emberly's cheek with his undamaged hand, and made her look at him instead anyone else. "Don't be frightened. There was an accident with one of the magic crystals, but everything is fine. Maggie just needs to rest now. Please don't fret, my darling." //firelordhans

⊰☼⊱— Emberly was looking all around, guessing what had gone wrong. Mr. Halbar was taking Maggie out of the tub gently. Her new dress torn apart and soaked laid at the side of the tub.Her father was in the farest corner looking sad. Queen Elsa’s face was worry and nervous. Princess Anna was helping Mr. Bjorman who looked exhausted, and for the first time Emberly registered that he finally was here!

When Halbar and Maggie left the room, Kristoff said something that Emberly quite didn’t understood. Is Maggie going to be ok? She wondered, and as an answer to her silence question, her father was immediately at her side.

“It’s alright” Her father said, and if he said it, it was because it was true, but then why everybody looked so dreadful?

“I want to help” She finally said after digging for the true into her papa’s eyes.
