“ဗုဒ္ဓဟူး ဆင် Wednesday Elephant” is one of my favourite prints. It’s been selected to exhibit @thefitzroyartcollective - New Art Show 2023. This was printed at @firestationprintstudio Lino Club and I want to thank my teacher Anastasia @akartprint for giving me the opportunity to learn Linocut printing in the past few months. Opening night is on Friday 24-2-23. 6:00pm till 11:00pm where there will be food, art performance and entertainment. We look forward to see you there! Artist statement In Myanmar, we do not have first name/surnames. We are named according to the day that we are born. This work is my interpretation of the people who are born on Wednesday represented by an elephant.
